What they are…
Most Impulse Response files available on the market simply reproduce specific cabinets with microphones in predefined positions. However, this approach can be limiting as it does not take into account the musical context in which they will be used.
The Roby Rocks Studio Mastered IRs completely deviate from this traditional methodology. I designed these IRs taking into consideration the musical genre and the context of use. I abandoned the idea of seeking perfection in simulating a single cabinet and instead focused on IRs that could emphasize the tonal and musical characteristics of the guitar, adapting to each specific type of sound or musical genre.
These Impulse Responses included in this package represent a combination of various cabinets, each carefully recorded using a variety of carefully selected microphones and then accurately blended together. Additionally, during the creation process, we used high-quality preamplifiers to add a natural sound coloration and then applied precise equalization. The end result is a complete, top-quality product that offers "musical" Impulse Responses ready for immediate use
These IRs have been specifically designed to adapt to rock sounds, including overdrive tones such as light crunch and aggressive high gain. They are versatile and work well with single-coil or humbucker pickups, as well as with vintage or more modern amplifiers. In this way, they offer users the opportunity to achieve the desired sound for their specific musical style without compromise.

La maggior parte dei file Impulse Response (IR) disponibili sul mercato rappresentano semplicemente la riproduzione di specifici cabinet con microfoni in posizioni predefinite. Tuttavia, questo approccio può risultare limitante in quanto non tiene conto del contesto musicale in cui verranno utilizzati.
I Roby Rocks Studio Mastered IR si discostano completamente da questa tradizionale metodologia. Ho progettato questi IR prendendo in considerazione il genere musicale e il contesto d'uso. Ho abbandonato l'idea di cercare la perfezione nella simulazione di un singolo cabinet, per concentrarmi invece su IR che potessero enfatizzare le caratteristiche timbriche e musicali della chitarra, adattandosi a ogni specifico tipo di suono o genere musicale.
Gli Impulse Response (IR) inclusi in questo pacchetto rappresentano una combinazione di vari cabinet, ciascuno registrato con cura utilizzando una varietà di microfoni attentamente selezionati e poi accuratamente miscelati tra loro. Inoltre, durante il processo di creazione, abbiamo impiegato preamplificatori di alta qualità per aggiungere una colorazione sonora naturale e successivamente abbiamo applicato un'equalizzazione precisa. Il risultato finale è un prodotto completo, di altissima qualità, che offre Impulse Response con un carattere "musicale" e pronti per l'utilizzo immediato.
